Dear Hilda,

Well, here I am, enjoying excellent meals, fine weather and my good old canoe, which is still, at forty-six years, as good as new.

But I did not have as good a time getting here. The train from Toronto was so crowded that I had to sit on the arm of a seat for the first half-hour. Then the conductor came along, and said there was one empty seat and took me to it.

Strange to say, I could not find one neglige shirt in any store in Rosseau. So I must trouble you to send me one that you have which do not need starch.

I hope Lillie is still making things easier for you. God bless you dear girl!

With warmest love.

Your brother,

[P.S.] My address is Rossmoyne Inn
Rosseau, Muskoka
