W7913 TO REV. CALVIN MCQUESTEN from Eric A. Nobbs
Nov 25 1934
To: Rev. Calvin McQuesten 'Whitehern,' Hamilton, Ontario
From: Civil Service Club, Cape Town, South Africa

Dear Mr. McQuesten,

I send you again my best Christmas wishes & I would assure you & your brother that I have not forgotten the kindnesses shown to a casual stranger visiting your interesting town & neighbourhood.

This year now ending, we travelled throughout the Balkan States, down the Danube, across to the Adriatic & into many strange old fashioned countries comparing them with my interesting recollections of your young progressive new-fangled modern nation.1 It was most instructive & entertaining & I think I learned a lot.

On our return voyage to S. Africa we made friends with four most delightful Canadians, a Lumber Commission, from British Columbia out to open markets in S. Africa.

With many remembrances,

Yours sincerely,

Eric A. Nobbs
