Dear Mr. McQuesten,

I do hope that you will receive the wire that I have sent on to you to Venice. I found the binoculars in your trunk. It was quite unnecessary to send the key as I found you had not locked it up. I am not sending the key back, will keep it here untill [sic] you return . Think it will be safe to do so. I hope you will be more happy now that you know the glasses are safe but no doubt you would like to have them with you. They would be very useful. But if you would like me to register them & send them on to you, just send me a card & I will do so. Hope you will have an enjoyable time. I hear from Mrs. Todd that Dr. & Arthur will arrive on the 8th of July. Hope you will be here with them.

Kindest regards,

Yours very sincerely,

L. Arnold
