Dear Mr. McQuesten,
We received your letter alright1 as for the money if you cant do any better I will take the $25 now & I will go on with the building as soon as possible if health & weather permits now about tar paper on the studding it would be of no benefit as the wind would catch it and tear it off as for the plan of the house I would perfer [sic] the 9ft wall facing to the south the same as the stable it would look better now as for any thing else that you should wish to know just mention it when you write.
