W7278 TO [REV.] CALVIN MCQUESTEN from his sister Margaret Edna McQuesten
Jul 1 1900
To: Calvin McQuesten Toronto, Ontario
From: Norway Point, Muskoka, Ontario

Dear Cally,

Dinner is just over so I am going to write to you and Hilda. Today we have engaged to go around the lake on a steamboat but as it is not a fine day we are not going. We intend seeing half the lake this afternoon and half to-morrow.

Thus I passed the time getting birch bark, writing letters1 and sealing my own and one of Margaret Smythe's and Delano Mackenzie's.

The house we are staying at is near the lake and not far over the lake.

[rest of letter is illegible]

[Edna McQuesten]

1 The letter is written on 2 pieces of birch bark, and only a small portion of the first is legible.
