To: Rev. Calvin McQuesten
From: King's Head Hotel, Loughborough

My Dearest Cal,

[?] [?] so much for your letters, and for me forwarded from Shelton Rd.

I'm afraid you never received two I sent to Plymouth 'Piste Restarante.' I'm so glad to have the two poems. Our rooms are 30A (C?'s) 30B (Toby). Very happy to be next door to Uncle Cal. The boys are next floor 2g. We are in the other house, No. 18. I do wish I could see you tonight-but if you are after 10.30 I'm afraid we shall be asleep!

Heaps of love-tomorrow will come at last!

1 Letter dated by context, Calvin was in England in May 1931 and was likely meeting some friends there.
