Letterhead:

THE MIDDLETON MARBLE AND GRANITE COMPANY LIMITED

One Hundred and Two Main Street East
Hamilton, Ontario

W7157 TO REV. CALVIN MCQUESTEN from Gerald Hobbes
Jun 26 1936
To: 'Whitehern,' 41 Jackson W., Hamilton, Ontario
From:

Rev. Calvin McQuesten
Dear Sir:

Following our conversation of today and in further reference to our letter of June 25th we beg to quote hereunder the price requested on a marker with a stone base similar to those already in the plot. Our price to duplicate this would be $48.00.

In connection with the inscription we have measured the space under the Calvin McQuesten lettering and find there is space for two lines as follows:

SON OF
CALVIN & MARGARETTE MCQUESTEN1

The other inscription should read as follows:

MARGARETTE EDNA2
Oct. 23, 1885 - Nov. 10, 1935

These two inscriptions total 64 letters and the charge at 30 cents a letter would amount to $19.20.

We are returning herewith the previous letter for your records.

Yours very truly, Gerald Hobbes

The Middleton Marble & Granite Company Limited
