W6612 TO REV. CALVIN MCQUESTEN from his mother, Mary Baker McQuesten
Jan 22 1910 Saturday Night [approximate date]
In care of (c/o)
To: Calvin McQuesten Knox College Toronto Ontario
From: 'Whitehern'

My dearest Cal,

I am just enclosing a letter from Ruby, which sounds like good news, as she says it is, tho' I do not understand the conditions very well and so cannot know the meaning of the doctor's expression quite so well.

Yesterday we had a call from Mrs. Ross, she is going about in the interests of the Gwalior Mission staying with Mrs. Scott. Eleanor is in Saskatoon trying to get music pupils I think, but knows no one. Didn't you tell me of a nice couple you stayed with? If you could give me the address, perhaps Eleanor could introduce herself to them. Would it be alright? Are we not having a lot of snow? To-day has been storming since morning; yesterday it rained all day.

We had our annual long meeting on Wednesday. Tom had to act as secretary. Will tell you more about it again. Hope the weather will improve, that you may have a pleasant day to-morrow. You must excuse a short note but have nothing special to say. With love from all and much from myself

Your loving mother

M.B. McQuesten
