W6369 TO REV. CALVIN MCQUESTEN from his sister Ruby
Mar 17 1909
To: Rev. Calvin McQuesten Knox College, Toronto, Ontario
From: 316-15th Ave. West., Calgary Alberta
Your letter has just come.1 I find from enquiry from people and station agent that the noon train from here is made up here & so likely to be on time and due in Winnipeg at 5:30 p.m.
So I'm going to leave on Thurs. noon and reach Winnipeg Friday afternoon or evening & have a night's rent either at Y[WCA] or the Imperial--I fancy it will be the Y. But anyways I'll be meeting you [next?] day--down at the station on Sat. noon and there you can decide what you like.
In case I don't meet you, you can phone to either of those places & in case I'm not there I'll have missed the train & will be arriving Sat. at 5:30 p.m. But no missing of trains for me so you'll probably see my round face beaming on you when you stick yours inside the station.2
With much love,
1 Calvin will likely be on his way out west to his preaching post at Glenhurst, Saskatchewan. See W6402 dated April 24, 1909 addressed to Calvin at Glenhurst.
