W4936 TO [REV.] CALVIN MCQUESTEN from his sister Ruby
Apr 30 1903
To: [Rev.] Calvin McQuesten Montreal, Quebec,
From: Ottawa Ladies' College

Many Happy Returns of the Day my dear old boy.

The new year is coming with all sorts of fine things in store for you, you thing of the May. It was a shame of you to oust your sister off the throne and seat yourself thereon and smile blandly when she came along a couple of days later. Never mind we shared up our Birthday parties and we'll share up other things too. 1

I'm just sending along a photo frame I did for you. The daffodils should suit the month. It's nothing much but there's lots of love and a big hug with it, my old Sweet Heart of a brother.

Your loving sister,

1 Calvin's birthday is May 1, 1876, and Ruby's birthday is May 3, 1879.
