Dear Sir,

With pleasure I would inform you that at a Church meeting held in this place on the 15th inst. the following resolution was unanimously agreed to, Viz,

Moved by Mr. [Best?], Seconded by Brother Willard that we invite the Rev. Thos. Baker to take the pastoral charge of this Church:

Respected Sir, I do hope the request will be responded at your earliest convenience believing it to be the will of the Head of the Church our Lord & Saviour.1

W4150 & W4151 are also copies of the same draft but they are illegible. It was Rev. Baker's habit to make draft copies of his letters, sometimes several drafts.
