Dear Mrs. Gorham,

Dear Aunt is very weak and unsettled in her mind, not able to comprehend your most kind letters. Mrs. Wilson is about to leave her for a short time, which is much regretted by us, but some one is coming that we know. Aunt has justly had a letter from her brother but it could not be read to her at present, he is much grieved to hear so sad an acct. [sic] [?] ate three. [The last page is overwritten and illegible]
