Dear Sir,

The company expense of fitting up a new house has brought me into debt, you will then for greatly oblige me by transmitting me without delay $100 dollars [??] installment in your Mortgage, and $21 dollars interest on [?], both down, but due on the 1st of last month.

If you would like to discharge the mortgage I should be willing [?] for amts down pay me $221 dollars which amts to [?] you 21 percent interest for less than 11 months.
