To Dr. C.B. McQuesten
I am sorry to have been out last evening. I am also sorry to say that I cannot possibly think of any way in which I could be of any service to Miss Barber. The only school of which I have had any knowledge these many years is Miss Ballow's, and she goes on year after year with the same teachers and only [?] rarely any changes. I should think that Miss Barber's best plan would be to call personally on the principals of the schools, and with her experience and references I should suppose it would not be difficult to obtain employment.
Yours ever truly
