W1075 DRAFT OF A LETTER TO EDWARD LERNED from his nephew Dr. Calvin Brooks McQuesten
Apr 27 1875
To: Edward Lerned

My Dear Uncle,1

Yours came yesterday afternoon and I hasten to inform you that I have written to Aunt Lucy disclaiming any interest in her late sister's estate--I am sorry Aunt Lucy or Catharine should be so much concerned about me. I am sure that neither father nor myself have ever shown any disposition to take from others and add to our own. It is too bad that they should after six months quiet, burst out to father about me besides loving me with writing so many letters about that I know nothing and personally I am [??] trusting that this is the end of the whole affair. I remain

Respectfully your Nephew

[Calvin Brooks McQuesten]
