W-MCP7-1.073 TO S.F. PRICE FROM C. ELLISON KAUMEYER
Mar 23 1946
To: S.F. Price, Vicksburg Bridge Company, Vicksburg, Mississippi.
From: C.E. Kaumeyer. March 25, 1946.
Dear Mr. Price:
The American Toll Bridge Association Bi-monthly Report just received invites suggestions as to when and where to hold our next Convention and recalls the fact that we have not held a Convention since February 1942.
In my opinion we should hold a Convention this spring or early in the summer and I could suggest no better place than Washington.
I would like very much to see the Convention for 1947 or 1948 held in Niagara Falls at which time we hope to have our Carillon installed at Rainbow Bridge, and could arrange special concerts as an added attraction for our members and visitors.
I have not had the good fortune to meet you personally but have heard our mutual friends Harry Gerrity and Jack [Borette?] speak of you so often in such high terms that I almost feel that we are old friends.
I shall look forward with pleasure to meeting you at the next Convention.
C. Ellison Kaumeyer
