1 Isaac served with the Hamilton Field Battery of Artillery as a 2nd Lieutenant (Minnes 2, Militia List 1865, RHLI Museum Archives , page 17). In 1866, he also served with the Queen's Own Rifles during the Fenian Invasion (Minnes 2).
