W-MCP3-5.042 TO THOMAS B. MCQUESTEN, ESQ., B.A. from his mother, Mary Baker McQuesten
Jun 29 1905
To: Thomas McQuesten 22 Grosvenor St., Toronto, Ontario
My dearest boy,
We were very glad to hear last night that you had passed your examination, you have that off your mind although you did not seem to be very anxious about it. Ruby and her friend arrived yesterday, morning by the boat and we were too busy with them that I failed to read the News and so did not see results. It was in the Spectator last night but not in our Times.
Cal. came home by train on Monday night and went off again next morning. Am glad for his sake the weather has been so cool. Poor Edna was kept on her feet yesterday for nine hours, so she was very tired when she came home, but is off again this morning.
Am enclosing a ticket in case you wish to take that boat but you may not be ready to come before 6 o'clock on Turbinia. With much love, dearie.
[P.S.] All send their congratulations.
