W-MCP3-5.040 TO THOMAS B. MCQUESTEN, ESQ., B.A. from his mother, Mary Baker McQuesten

To: Thomas McQuesten 22 Grosvenor St., Toronto, Ontario
My dear dear boy,
Thank you for your thoughtfulness in writing me about Cal., as I have heard nothing from him, except a message from Angus Cameron and a telephone through Archie Mullin. It is certainly worse for him to go any place [but] where he can get a good rest and not talk [sic]. Ruby has decided to stay over Thursday night with Helen Locke and I think Helen is to meet her.
Your exams begin to-morrow and I wish you good luck. You are ever in my mind and in my prayers dearie. I enclose the five dollars and am very thankful that D. V. [sic] you will not fail us for Christmas. With much love.
