Box 03-242 TO REV. CALVIN MCQUESTEN from G.P. Gilmour
Apr 24 1950
To: Rev. Calvin McQuesten 41 Jackson St. West, Hamilton, Ontario

Dear Mr. McQuesten,

I have read with interest your letter and material you sent with it. I noticed you getting off the train on Friday night and thought that you still looked quite busy. I saw the report of your farewell sermon when it appeared in the Spectator, and I am glad to have the mimeographed material that you sent. I had no idea that the chaplaincy was such a part-time job as far as salary goes. It is too late to correct any injustice in your case, but the growth of the work from part-time to practically full-time duties may make the lot of your successor a little easier.

Yours sincerely,

G.P. Gilmour
