Dear Reverend McQuesten:-
Hereby I am returning the copy of the first chapter of your book entitled "The King of Fighting Men,"1 which you gave to me to read.
I am sorry that I kept it so long, but I wanted to know what I was reading and I must say that I enjoyed the originality and the well studied historical background of it. Indeed it must be very good for I found my little girl (three years old) "reading" it early one morning when I came downstairs. I apologize for the copy being crumbled.
Dr. Armstrong and staff are keeping well and hope that you thoroughly enjoy your stay in Florida.
1 Chapters 1-6 of this book are included on this site. The rest can be found in the Whitehern archives.
